Summary

CARE-ABILITYEmpowering Migrant Women through Micro-Credentials in SocioHealth Services

CARE-ABILITY is an Erasmus+ project focused on strengthening the employability and social inclusion of migrant women by supporting their entry into the socio-healthcare and care sectors. The project responds to two pressing European needs: the growing demand for qualified caregivers and the persistent barriers faced by migrant women in accessing education, certification, and stable employment.

By combining vocational training, micro-credentials, and AI-supported learning tools, CARE-ABILITY creates fair and accessible pathways into care-related professions. The project values prior experience, builds confidence, and supports sustainable integration into the labour market.

Objectives

  • The project provides accessible, flexible vocational training tailored to migrant women’s needs
  • It recognises existing skills through validated micro-credentials
  • It uses digital and AI-based tools to support personalised learning pathways
  • It reduces barriers related to language, certification, and access to VET
  • It strengthens links between education providers, employers, and social organisations
