However, excessive engagement can lead to serious consequences for students\u2019 academic performance, social life, and mental health.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>GameOver<\/strong> project, under the <strong>Erasmus+ KA2<\/strong> programme, aims to <strong>prevent problematic online gaming<\/strong> among students aged <strong>12\u201316<\/strong>. Through innovative tools and actions, the project empowers school communities to <strong>prevent, detect, and intervene<\/strong> early in such behaviours.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives of GameOver<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The GameOver project focuses on four key areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Raising awareness within the educational community about the risks of excessive gaming.<br \/>\n\u2022 Early detection of signs of problematic behaviour through appropriate tools.<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0Training and providing resources to teachers, parents, and students for the prevention and management of the phenomenon.<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0Supporting vulnerable groups of students, particularly those from less privileged backgrounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What the Project Will Deliver<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Within the framework of GameOver, the following will be developed and made available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Early Detection Instrument (EDI)<\/strong>.<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Educational tools and materials<\/strong> tailored to the needs of schools and families.<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0<strong>Online training program<\/strong> for educational professionals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Through GameOver, we aim to strengthen knowledge, awareness, and digital balance within school communities across Europe!<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned for more news and activities!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the digital age, online gaming is an integral part of young people\u2019s daily lives, offering entertainment, creativity, and social interaction.
