Training in the care sector cannot be limited to theory. Skills such as effective communication, safe support, privacy\u00a0protection\u00a0and the management of everyday situations need to be understood and applied confidently in practice.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the approach behind the CARE-ABILITY training\u00a0programme, which is currently being developed to create accessible and meaningful learning pathways for migrant women who wish to strengthen their skills and explore professional opportunities in the social and healthcare sector.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From knowledge to practice<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CARE-ABILITY\u00a0is developing a 50-hour training\u00a0programme,\u00a0organised\u00a0into thematic units covering key aspects of care work and professional readiness.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The project\u2019s approach focuses not only on what learners should know, but\u00a0mainly on\u00a0what they should be able to do after completing the training.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For this reason, the learning material combines theoretical knowledge with practical activities, realistic scenarios,\u00a0quizzes\u00a0and assignments. Learners are therefore encouraged to apply what they learn in situations that reflect real-life contexts in the care sector.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Assessment also goes beyond the simple recall of information. It includes aspects such as communication, safe decision-making, following\u00a0procedures\u00a0and professional\u00a0behaviour.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Two learning pathways<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The training\u00a0programme\u00a0is being developed through two different learning pathways.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The first is designed for learners, with material that is clear,\u00a0accessible\u00a0and practical.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The second is intended for VET educators and trainers, providing tools that can help them deliver and adapt the\u00a0programme\u00a0effectively to the needs of different learner groups.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this way, CARE-ABILITY is not only creating learning content, but also a complete framework for its practical implementation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

EMVIO\u2019s role<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

EMVIO leads WP3 of CARE-ABILITY, which focuses on the development of the digital learning platform and the project\u2019s educational resources.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Within this framework, EMVIO contributes to the coordination of the structure and common standards of the training material, its accessibility and consistency across the different units, and its integration into a functional digital learning environment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Particular attention\u00a0is given to creating a learning experience that can respond to\u00a0different levels\u00a0of language\u00a0proficiency, educational\u00a0background\u00a0and digital experience.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Skills that can be\u00a0recognised<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The development of the training\u00a0programme\u00a0is also\u00a0an important step\u00a0towards a broader CARE-ABILITY\u00a0objective: turning knowledge and experience into clear and\u00a0recognisable\u00a0skills.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the learning platform, practical activities and the micro-credentials developed within the project, CARE-ABILITY aims to strengthen the connection between learning, skills\u00a0recognition\u00a0and professional progression.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
