The GameOver project marks one year of dynamic implementation, and its progress is captured in the second edition of its Newsletter. The pages highlight important milestones, strong partnerships, and preparations for the next set of tools that will help schools prevent excessive online gaming among students.
At the heart of the update is the second transnational partners’ meeting, held in Sofia. Representatives from Lithuania, Greece, Spain, and Bulgaria exchanged experiences, presented the progress of project deliverables, and planned the next phases. Discussions focused on the final development steps of the Early Detection Instrument (EDI), the completion of the Toolkits for students, teachers, and parents, and the launch of a new Online Training Programme for education professionals on prevention, early detection, and early intervention of Problematic Online Gaming.
The Newsletter also introduces the project’s new promotional video, which shares GameOver’s mission with the wider public. Its central message is “Switch Off Addiction – Power Up Life!”
