Two Days of Collaboration and Inspiration for ACCESS in Lithuania

On 25 and 26 September, EMVIΩ travelled to Lithuania to join our partners for the 2nd transnational meeting of the ACCESS project. Over two days, we worked side by side with colleagues from Lithuania, Italy, Spain, Greece, and Romania, exchanging ideas, sharing progress, and planning the next steps.

The visit began at “Saulės” School in Joniškis, where we received a warm welcome and a guided tour showcasing the school’s inspiring approach to inclusion. It was a powerful reminder of why ACCESS matters: every child deserves the right support to thrive.

The first day continued with our colleagues from LESTU presenting the progress made so far in developing the training course for teachers and outlining the tasks still ahead. Our partners from LeGO, ETHOS, and LESTU then guided us through the first draft of the training materials they designed. Afterwards, LeGO presented the steps for developing the next project deliverable: toolkits for parents. The day concluded with a visit to Joniškis’ historical and cultural sites, giving us the chance to strengthen bonds with our partners beyond the project agenda.

The second day focused on management, quality, and dissemination. Our Lithuanian partners from Saulės and LESTU led the discussion on management issues, while we had the opportunity to present an overview of the website and social media performance, as well as the upcoming steps for promoting the project. The conversations were practical, constructive, and full of fresh ideas.

We returned home inspired, with a renewed sense of purpose and a clear roadmap for the months ahead. Lithuania reminded us once again that collaboration across borders brings us closer to inclusive education for all children.
