GameOver: Problematic Gaming Tendencies
GameOver is a project funded by Erasmus+ with 24 months duration. It is implemented by 4 organisations from Lithuania, Greece, Bulgaria and Spain.
It addresses the challenges posed by Problem Online Gaming among pupils aged 12-16. The project focuses on prevention, early detection and intervention of excessive gaming, highlighting its harmful consequences on children’s education, social interactions and mental health.
AIM:
The aim of the GameOver project is to inform and educate teachers, students aged 12-16 and parents about the dangers of excessive use of online games and to provide them with the necessary tools for early detection and intervention.
The main objectives of the project are summarised as follows:
• Raise Awareness about the risks of POG to students, parents, and teachers.
• Early Detection by developing a specialized tool to identify early signs of gaming addiction.
• Provide Resources to the educational community to deal with the gaming disorder at the initial stage.
• Special attention is given to students with fewer opportunities to avoid online gaming addiction

- Early Detection Instrument (EDI). A tool to identify risk factors and early signs of gaming addiction.

- Online training program: a course for professionals on prevention, screening, and intervention of gaming addiction.
