On October 23, 2025, the second transnational meeting of the Fit for the Future project took place in beautiful Aveiro, Portugal, a city full of colour, light, and creativity. Representatives of organizations from seven European countries came together with a common goal: to continue the journey towards more inclusive and sustainable forms of leadership.
This meeting was an opportunity for all partners to exchange experiences, ideas, and stories of people who lead with empathy and vision. Each presentation and discussion served as a reminder that genuine leadership is not only about strategies and results but also about how we care for the people around us.
Throughout the day, partners presented the first outcomes of the project’s research phase. Particularly inspiring were the stories of leaders from various fields — education, entrepreneurship, and social action — who create positive change through their work. These personal accounts, filled with passion and authenticity, perfectly captured the project’s essence: inspiring people and organizations to “relearn” what it means to lead.
The meeting was more than a series of presentations — it was a space for open dialogue. Partners exchanged practices, insights, and ideas on how to transform learning and work environments into spaces that empower people. In an atmosphere of collaboration and mutual respect, the group worked together on the next steps, focusing on developing resources that will help educators and professionals apply regenerative leadership principles in real-life contexts.
EMVIO actively participated in the discussions, contributing ideas that highlighted the importance of inclusion and sustainability in both education and the workplace. The exchange of experiences among partners once again confirmed that meaningful change begins with collaboration and a shared commitment to growth.
The Fit for the Future journey continues — guided by teamwork, empathy, and the belief that the leadership of tomorrow is built on understanding, care, and trust.
