On December 3 and 4, 2025, the CARE-ABILITY project partners met in Alicante, Spain, for the 1st Transnational Meeting. It was the first time that the team had all come together, with the common goal of laying solid foundations for cooperation and starting the implementation of the project in an organized manner.
The meeting was fast-paced and positive. The partners presented their organizations and discussed how they would work as a team, with clear roles and a common vision for the timelines. Emphasis was placed on communication, consistency, and the need for constant communication so that the project activities could proceed smoothly.
The focus was on the content and “spirit” of CARE-ABILITY: empowering migrant women through modern and practical forms of learning that help them acquire skills useful in their work and daily lives. There was a discussion about the basic topics to be covered, how to design the educational materials in a simple and user-friendly way, and how to support the participants at each stage.
At the same time, the partners exchanged ideas on how technology can help make education more accessible and closer to the real needs of women. They discussed the value of guidance, personalized support, and creating a learning environment that respects diversity, language, and cultural background.
EMBIO actively participated in the discussion on the design of the educational approach and the dissemination of the project. Basic guidelines were agreed upon for informing the public, presenting the project online, and promoting its results to people and organizations that can benefit from it.
The meeting concluded with clear next steps and a shared commitment: CARE-ABILITY to produce solutions that are practical, useful, and have a real social impact.
