EMVIO participates as a partner in the Erasmus+ project DAMET – Empowering educators through AI and microcredentials, an initiative addressing a clear challenge in adult education: the rapid digital and AI shift without structured training or recognised certification.
Across Europe, adult educators are expected to integrate AI-driven and digital tools into teaching, often without adequate support. DAMET responds with a practical, educator-centred approach that combines skills development with transparent recognition.
A core project outcome is the Digital Competency Development Platform, an online learning environment tailored to adult educators. The platform will host a modular e-learning programme focused on real teaching scenarios, ethical AI use, and effective digital practices. The design prioritises flexibility and applicability, allowing educators to strengthen competences without disrupting professional routines.
Equally important is DAMET’s work on a European micro-credential framework. The project aims to support the validation and recognition of digital and AI-related skills, helping educators demonstrate competences clearly and consistently across countries. This approach supports mobility, professional development, and lifelong learning.
The partnership brings together six organisations from Slovenia, Lithuania, Italy, France, Greece, and Spain, combining expertise in adult education, digital innovation, and inclusion. EMVIO contributes to dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and the sustainable uptake of project results, ensuring that outcomes reach educators, institutions, and decision-makers.
DAMET focuses on impact, not theory. By linking practical training with recognised credentials, the project supports adult educators in adapting confidently to digital change and strengthens adult education systems across Europe.
