FitLab is online: Explore practices, case studies, and interviews

The partners of the Fit for the Future project have successfully completed its first deliverable, one of the key stages of its implementation. The deliverables are now ready and available on the project website, in English and in the languages of all partners here

The partners’ activities focused on creating a comprehensive database with real-life examples from the world of work and education. A total of 56 records were collected from the partner countries. The material includes case studies highlighting different forms of prejudice, good practices that promote sustainability and regenerative leadership, as well as interviews with professionals – with a particular focus on women in leadership positions.

The collection of material was not random. The partners worked on the basis of a common, scientifically documented methodological framework developed by the University of Aveiro in Portugal. This framework set out specific selection criteria, dimensions of analysis, and data collection procedures. The aim was to ensure quality, comparability, and meaningful use of the findings.

The case studies focused on issues such as gender discrimination, ageism, and exclusion based on disability or cultural background. Good practices highlighted actions that combine inclusion with sustainability and systemic thinking. The interviews offered a more human and experiential perspective, highlighting challenges, obstacles, and solutions that are being implemented in practice.

At the same time, a comparative analysis was carried out between the theoretical approach of the project and the actual data collected. This process highlighted both the strengths and weaknesses that currently exist in terms of diversity, equality, and inclusion in organizations.

The result is an open, accessible, and structured knowledge base that can be used by organizations, educational institutions, professionals, and any interested citizen.

Fit for the Future continues its journey with the next goal being to further utilize the findings.
