On 23-24 January 2025, the ACCESS project held its kick-off meeting in Montevarchi, Italy. Partners from Lithuania, Greece, Italy, Italy, Spain and Romania met to collaborate and lay the foundations for this inspiring initiative under the Erasmus+ programme.
ACCESS aims to empower primary school teachers and parents by providing them with innovative tools, training and resources to support children aged 6-10 years old with Learning Difficulties (LDs). The project places particular emphasis on early detection and management of learning difficulties in mainstream school, promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for all students.
During the meeting, the project objectives, work plan and expected deliverables were discussed,
- An asynchronous training programme for teachers,
- A digital library for teachers, and
- A support tool for parents.
Representatives of the partners also reviewed timelines, roles and responsibilities, ensuring a coordinated and unified approach.
As the ACCESS project begins, we look forward to sharing updates, milestones, and successes. Stay tuned for more news from our journey to more inclusive education!
